    Not sure why you'd get flamed for that idea, that's what I'm going to do. Why waste money on a Steeda CAI, K&N FIPK or C&L inlet tube. Just cut the MAC CAI, same thing.

    E-Bay CAI with the 90* bend removed is just as good as anything. Plastic, or metal, doesn't matter. The charge of air doesn't have enough time to get heated to the point where you'd be losing any hp. Not sure why anyone would want to put ~$230 into a CAI when you get the same thing for 60$.

    Sucks that it's out of alignment but it's badass at the same time. I wish I could have "battle damage" like that from having a badass Stang. I hope someday I come home with a scratched up right rear bumper because I've been launching so hard and need a wheelie bar :D

    A better idea would be to get a hacksaw and saw off the 90* bend that everyone bitches about and attach the filter right infront of the MAF (like it is on the C&L kit and K&N FIPK). It will make it just as good as a K&N FIPK or the C&L inlet tube. I don't understand why people don't talk about...

    The C&L 80mm MAF, inlet tube and TB/plenum combo have been dyno'd at 22.6 rwhp and 28.1 rwtq peak. This was with one of the Optimizer to help tune the A/F on the dyno. I'd say that's a pretty good gain. I wouldn't buy the inlet tube, would go with the cheap e-bay CAI and chop off the...

    I thought pullies and t/a were a good combo? I have flow 40 mufflers welded into the stock catback now. I'd like to keep that sound so I think the Prochamber would work out best. ?

    That's what I was thinking. I don't think the MAF and t/a are worth it if I'm getting a tune. What kind of midpipe would you reccomend? I'm thinking I'll go with the MAC Prochamber.

    Timing Adjuster help!

    91 should be fine, if you hear any detonation / pinging (bb's in a can sound) just back the timing off a degree or two until it goes away. Have you felt any gains with the timing adjuster so far? I'm thinking about getting one.

    I'll buy it and chop off that bend so it is the same design as the K&N FIPK then dyno it. I understand that the bend is the only downside to that CAI, been causing wierd a/f ratios, removing it should fix the problem.
