I installed my El Glo gauges without a dremel. What did you use the dremel for? My clear cover deal had a bunch of gold colored screws, just removed, avoided fingerprints, all is well.
Actually my owner's manual says (I can get the exact wording later if it's a big deal) if it doesn't run correctly on 87 take it to the dealer.
A service writer at Ford told me any gas is fine in it. I always run 87.
MAC does not make shorties for 4.6L, FRPP are not smog approved, JBAs are pretty expensive.
I hope BBK actually releases theirs soon, and they perform well.
I would definately replace spark plugs before using any additives in my car. Are you also running the stock fuel filter?
Do you have a T/A or chip to be using the 91+ octane or do they all have "techron?"
Why are you guys raising the BS flag, a bone stock GT with ET Streets and 6k RPM launches should be at least 13.5 or better. With LTs and good track conditions it is totally realistic.
Hey, these headers are listed for 96-98 cars, is the exhaust (engine side of midpipe) different on 96-98?
Anybody have these? Will they work?
BBK seems to be dragging their feet releasing their shorties. These are a little cheaper and even carry a CARB number...
Well I know I definately can't go past 120, but I don't think it has to do with the speed rating of the tires, didn't the 16s still use ZR tires?
My 5.0LX had VR tires. All (mustang) V8 engine options should have atleast VR tires from the factory.
My 00GT, 3.73s. At 4k RPM in 5th gear i'm going 120mph, and my speed limiter kicks in.
Never took it that fast before I had the gears, and haven't done it since.
I thought there is no reverse synchro in the T-45s, so long as your shift into 1st or 2nd first, then into R, all is well.
I just shift to 1st (with clutch ALL the way to the floor), then into R, and it doesn't grind.
