cd player won't play burned songs past song 11

True, no further writing is possible after using DAO, but you can still close the CD using TAO. DAO is referring to the actual burn process, the fact that is closes the CD is because it is writes multiple tracks/sessions all in one shot.

    nitrous question

The NX kit also has a fuel pressure safety switch. The NOS kit for 99+ 4.6L (not NOSzle Direct port) is a dry kit and comes with computer stuff. The NX kit seems like the best over all value IMO.

    Exhaust work to be done....

IMO, get gears, subframes and a shifter at least before messing with exhaust. I'd also get springs, shocks and struts before exhaust. I still have stock exhaust

    original battery life

My dash lights dim when I roll both windows up or down. It's done it ever since I got the car about 2 years ago. Saw a dummy light a couple times about a year ago, fine ever since  When I bought the car it had a receipt for a bunch of stereo equipment (not in the car anymore), so maybe...

    351 windsor swap?

IMO, for a swap like that, the exhaust is the least of your worries. You'll need an aftermarket K-member or figure out how to mount the bigger engine, plus a new tranny. Also forget the factory computer if you're gonna keep it EFI.

Anyone have any comments about 87 vs 91 octane?

I would try replacing fuel filter, spark plugs (copper) and then resetting the ECU. You may wanna inspect your wires too. Then fill it up with 87 and see what happens. I put like $10.00 of 91 in my car every couple months, run 87 all the rest of the time.

    180 T-Stat installed

I got one and I'm happy with the results. It does still get to normal temp when it's hot out, or you're running AC/defrost. It also gets to normal temp when in traffic, but when just cruising on the freeway it's definately lower than normal. I think it's still hot enough to not worry about...

    Header Question

I'm waiting for the BBK shorties if they ever come out. Here is current selection of shorty headers for 99+ 1. FRPP - not so impressive looking, not 50 state legal, no real decent gains reported, reasonably priced. 2. JBA - nicer looking than FRPP, 50 state legal, better gains...

    Fast, cheap, easy.

No, just get a 100 shot. Would be about $1,000 if you got everything new and got all the little accessories. Should be in the 12s right away. :nice:

I thought we were talking about the front of the car here. You can get whatever coil over spring rate in the front you want.

    What next?

I've always heard, don't use an electric water pump on non-race cars. Reason: the electric water pump just goes out, the conventional water pump leaks first and doesn't lose all pressure at once.

    Nitrous Write-UP

So the colder plugs with a smaller gap runs the same as the normal plugs and you run them all the time? I don't wanna be changing out plugs every time I spray.
