    need help

I beat my buddy's 95 by about 6 tenths pre-supercharger (Bullitt intake, LTs, Bassani X, Magnaflows and 3.73s). So I'm guessing 4.10s and full exhaust would allow you to take the win light...

Clicking sound when turning... what is it?

Oh okay - I thought you were talking about replacing the k-member, a-arms, calipers and rotors just to attempt to get rid of the clicking! Seemed kiiind of extreme :) I did a quick search for this type of problem and it seems that the most common cause was either bad wheel bearings or...

Clicking sound when turning... what is it?

Youre talking about an intermittent click that only occurs while turning and is speed-dependent, right? So why the concern about stationary suspension pieces?

Clicking sound when turning... what is it?

Are you sure its not just as simple as a clearance issue with the inner fender? Maybe one of the screws/pushpins isn't properly in place and the tire is rubbing it - causing it to slap?? I know my tires rub a bit when I have the wheel hard-over, and if thats the case then it would...

    Which tires to get?

Yeah I'm going to agree with Kilgore on this one - not worth the risk when you don't really need the DRs on the street. Why not just mount them on another pair of rims and swap them for the track/dry weather??

    numbers

See my sig for the setup and numbers... If I was you, I wouldnt base my decision on other peoples' power numbers though. We all have different set-ups and supporting mods, as well as different tunes - so if you see one guy with a vortech and 420rwhp and another with a paxton and 385, don't...

When do gears lose their advantage?

I think we're trying to say the same thing using different terminology. Saying 'torque multiplication' suggests (to me anyways) that changing from a 3.27 to a 3.73 somehow magically makes your engine produce another 100ft-lbs, and I guess I just didn't want anyone to think that...But however...

When do gears lose their advantage?

You'll win - not by much, but you'll win. You have to remember that the only thing you're changing with the 3.73s is the ratio of the number of turns of the driveshaft to the number of turns of the rear wheels. You aren't magically creating more torque - torque transfers are limited by the...

    Pre cut window tint?

Don't mess with the do it yourself kit - find a reputable place that will do it for less than $200 and go with them. I have two friends who have used a kit, and both eventually wound up tearing it off and having it re-done professionally. Plus, there are many places that will give you a...

Vorterch Supercharger for 3K, is it worth it?

As far as I know, the only difference between the GT kit and the Bullitt kit is the final piece of tubing before the TB...and even if the kit youre thinking about buying is meant for the Bullitt, you might be able to call Vortech and swap it - Procharger pretty much let me mix-and-match things...

Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me...but keep in mind that you probably won't get as much for the '97 as you want/think you should...especially if you try to sell it quick to make the move on the kewbra

Attn. Tri-ax owners you experience heat tranfer to shift knob with Tri-Ax? Or others?

I don't understand why everyone thinks that there's going to be a difference in heat transfer from one shifter to the next. From the info on their websites, it seems that the MGW and Tri-ax are made from the same type of aluminum, so why would there be any difference? Seems to be a shift knob...
