    thanks for the link, thats exactly what i was looking for.. i knew lightnings were 42s, but i wasn't sure if it was the same connection.. and as for the price, a friend of mine works at a motorcraft warehouse, and can get them for $100, cant beat that price :nice:

    hes right.. im not sure if you were saying you knew that by staying "i am aware it undoes from behind," but if thats not what you ment you can try to get that nut off all day long and you will never get anywhere.. you have to undo the bolt from the nut in this case, not the other way around

    im not possative but im pretty sure that the lifters need to be soaked in oil before they are put in, so that they arn't fully compressed when installed.. you could lube them too, just to be safe, but i didn't.. and make sure you change the oil before you prime the engine, and then change it...

    size cowl needed to clear typhoon intake...

    without a spacer it will easily clear a 2.5" cowl hood.. i have a 1" spacer on mine and i still have plenty of room on my 2.5" cobra R hood.. it may even clear the stock hood with no spacer, but dont take my work for it on that
