Trying my luck here...Hot starting woes...

First of all...it's not the starter. The starter is a high torque starter off of a 95 GT. It spins the engine over like crazy. No heat sink what so ever.....Now that that is out of the way.... When cold the car starts right up. When hot it sometimes starts and sometimes doesn't, but when it...

    Who is running Explorer injectors?

This is very good to hear. On my dyno run I was running a 9:1 A/F and I think part of that was due to some of the caps on the injectors where the pins are were broken. So on top of the more airflow from the Explorer intake and the disc style injectors, I'm hoping to feel some decent HP gains...

    Who is running Explorer injectors?

Well I'm installing my Explorer intake this weekend and would like to use the stock 97 Explorer injectors. I took pics of the Mustang and Explorer injectors but I have no idea how to post them. (How do you post pictures anyways?) I'm told they are 19lb injectors but look smaller then the Mustang...

Are you using the lock washers that come with it? I was having this problem too then relized I didn't have the washers on. Haven't had a problem in 2 years. Matt

Going to look at heads, intake and TB today.

I'm pretty sure they do have those passages but not nearly anything like E7's. And I'm pretty sure compression is somewhere around 9.5:1-10:1 due to smaller combustion chambers. Matt

I did just notice that I won't be able to use the Explorer fuel lines because the fuel pressure regulator bolts up a little differently. Pics to follow today. Matt

thumper gt40 heads (also post in 94-95 sec)

So Thumper also charges $595 to port GT-4o's if you send them to him? I'm very interested to see your numbers, blk. I just bought a set of GT-40's yesterday and plan to P&P them but it depends on cost and if I want to try it myself or not. Matt
