    I wanna paint the horse flat black after I ditch the corrall. I figure I'll clean it, sand off the chrome, primer and spray some flat black. Can I get away with using model car paint or how should I go about this?

    So I think this weekend I'm gonna ditch the grille corral and maybe spray the horse flat black. I was thinking I'd just clean it, sand off the chrome, spray some primer and then some flat black. You think I could get away with using model car paint or what?

    I'm not totally sure but I think you'll need at least a 1/4'' spacer all around. I would suggest adding an extra inch to the rear spacer, though. You'll be glad you did.
