    Cruises???

I'd be up for some cruises. My problem is that I have Tue/Wed off...my "weekend" for the forseeable future. :bang: I have to put in for vacation days well ahead of time, so doing things spur of the moment on a weekend just doesn't happen.

    competing with an LS1

Alright, alright - so I either had bad info or remembered something wrong (even though my visual memory is very good). I'm still doing the boltons regardless - I love my car whether it puts down 250 or 300 to the rear wheels. I'll find out what I put down when I get it dyno tuned in a month or...

lt headers and a lowered car

Oh, and when I took a ferry across Lake Champlain, I scraped everytime except the last one. Even going diagonally, I had to kick everyone out of my car and have them carry stuff from my trunk. I cleared it then by less than an inch. :D

lt headers and a lowered car

I'm extremely careful with my car. But on the older (in my state, yellow) speed bumps that aren't very wide...I can't clear them with a passenger, and barely clear them myself. As for my girlfriend's downhill gravel driveway, I am rolling, on the brake, maybe 2-3 mph and utilize the terrain to...

    competing with an LS1

LS1s do love spray...I've seen that firsthand. They run 10.5:1 compression, I believe; and are not good boost motors stock. Not to start (or continue) a seperate argument, but I've seen 290 to the rear wheels of an automatic '02 GT with boltons and a chip. I'm hoping that the torque converter...

    competing with an LS1

I also have GM roots. I've owned 3 F-bodies in the past, and was looking for an LS1 when I found my Mustang. I have an automatic and ran consistent 14.4s stock. The LS1 is rated at 13.3 stock...and I believe the New Edge (99-04) Mustangs are rated at 14.2 with a manual. One of my best friends...

Have you ever stuck your finger...

I used to have a 1986 IROC-Z with serious (automatic) transmission problems (my fault). Needless to say, it leaked. A lot. So...I got kinda lazy and just started guessing on how much fluid it needed. I filled it up one day, and as soon as I got on it I heard a muffled "boom" and I was...

lt headers and a lowered car

I have clearance issues over certain speedbumps and my girlfriend's gravel driveway (it's on a hill, so there are divets) with my stock manifolds on. My long tubes, Xpipe, TB, and pullies just arrived...they're being installed a week from Tuesday. I can let you know next Wed how it goes, lol...

    Shocks and struts question...

I installed Sportline springs and a Pro3 c/c kit at the same time. The ride was very stiff...and I'm definitely "spirited" in corners, and a daily basis. I ended up installing KYB adjustable shocks/struts (I wanted Billstein a little more, but I got a great deal), and I love them. Not that I...

    Tuner in Baltimore Area?

I live in Arnold (near Annapolis). Currently I go to JPC in Glen Burnie. I've gone to ELD before, and they're alright, but don't speciailize in any type of car. You could also check out Horsepower by Hermann in Crofton. I've heard really good things about them as well, but JPC is closer to my...

    Tune up Question

I have a 2000 Mustang GT that badly needs a tune up. I work full time+, but I'm also a college student (and pay for that out of pocket), so I try to spend my money wisely. I'm installing a CAI right before I get a tune-up, and I'm finishing the usual boltons (full exhaust, pulleys, handheld...

Any sn95's running 275/40-17 on 10.5 cobra r's on the Rear

I may be kinda beating a dead horse here.... I have 17"x9" wheels, and I'm running 275/40/17s all the way around. I'm getting more into circle track stuff, and they're awesome! (Not comp tires, but I'd highly recommend these BF Goodrich g-Force Sports for daily driving. Awesome.) I have...

    Hey folks

I'm game too. During the winter I put on my Sportline springs, a c/c kit, and I got chrome Saleen replica wheels...I just wasn't a huge fan of the stocker, and I wanted some 275s. ::shrug:: I also got my Magnapaks installed since I've seen anyone on here, I think. I hope to have some...

we need to get this section going

I'm still lurking, lol. My schedule losened up a bit. I'm free Friday evenings and Saturday nights. I'm always up for anything - I think if we had a bi-weekly meet it would start small, but build on itself. Everyone has busy schedules, so they take time to build up. When I used to have a Camaro...

we need to get this section going

I think the three person meet was in Rockville, by the Friday's. I was there. Since then, I've added a Magnapack to my car...along with 8 points in MD and 2 in NC. Add 50 hours of work, 11 credit hours, and PF training....I'm *******. I really don't get out much anymore...but I need to. Fridays...

    Capitol

I'm going to be up at Capitol tonight...I was there last week, but forgot to leave a note. I'll be in the staging lanes early (1730ish), but I usually only do three or four passes before I go to watch. Once I'm done racing, I usually hang with some of my friends down by the finish line on the...
