Anyone ver heard metallic tink-tink noises from lower intake manifold???

could also, be your timing chain getting loose. and slopping around, removing the accessories may take enough load off to stop it. Very doubltfull but just an idea. didn't mean to sound mean in my last post, just keep going with the belt off. you are on the right track.

Anyone ver heard metallic tink-tink noises from lower intake manifold???

well come on man, you are headed in the right direction your self. by removing the belt, you have eliminated the valve train from the equation, you obviously have a bad pulley, water pump, or faulty tensioneer. grab the fan and wiggle it around, does the front nose of the water pump move? if so...

    #6 Spark Plug is Smoking...

well only a few things that it could logically be, 1. the boot is burning on the header pipe 2. the spark plug has loosened up and the exhaust is blowing past the threads, but you'd probally hear a exhaust leak, or have a missfire. 3. valve cover gaskets are leaking and oil is running down...

    oil leak. fixable?

not really, changing it is pretty straight forward and you could do it easily. just remove the accessories and the water pump, timing chain cover, balancer, don't forget to remove the couple of oil pan bolts under the timing chain cover before you try to remove it. ALSO, try to locate exactly...

    A/c help please

pretty simple system, like said before, if you feel you have a leak, look around all the lines and connections for dirt buildup. the oil in the system will cause dirt to build op around the leaking area, o-rings are very common A/C leaking points, if you have access to dye you can go that route...

You should have gotten 2 EXACT same headgaskets. the same part number and everything, one gasket will go on upside down. but make sure you have the words FRONT facing the radiator. other than that. your good to go, not all of the holes are used for coolant.

best way to track down wiring bug

well, ideally, you would want to use a digital volt ohm meter or DVOM, to check the resistance or continuity, beween one end of a circuit or another. typically you can assume that you should see battery voltage just before the load in a circuit. so if your looking at a certain wire, make sure...

I will paypal $10 to the person who solves this problem
