    I would like to hear from people that have the 4.30 gears, it really doesn't seem that there are many people that have this ratio. Most of the N/A S197s have 4.10s. Also how many of you S197s guys shift around 6500?

    The 05 and up stangs don't have an Idle air control valve, it all done electronicly by the PCM and the Throttle body.

    I don't remember the RPM through the traps, it's been awhile since I have been to the quater mile. Since I moved back home after graduating, there is no longer a track here anymore. They are plaining a track around here very soon. My trap speed was between 105-106 with my current mods minus...

    4:10s with stock code M inferior?

    I talked to a parts tech at FRPP today, he said that Ford Racing stopped making the 4.30 because no one was buying them anymore. Luckily they(Ford Racing) still make the 4.10s and a few other ratios.

    I was looking at the gear-to-rpm-to-mph chart that I have in excel format. (I can post it if anyone would like a copy) I need to rev to 6500-6600 rpm to acheive 60 mph in second gear with the current stock wheels and the Nitto 555s. I guess these gears are more for the Mach1s and the Cobras...

    Delete plates are great THEY AREN"T A WASTE, you would love them. Obviously you would need a retune, since you have a predator I would use BAMAchips or a known good Predator tuner.     I did notice that the FRPP 4.30 (Made by motive) has 39 ring gear teeth and 9 pinon teeth,the Motive High Performance Series has 43 Ring gear teeth and 10 pinoin teeth. I just wonder if all these cases of whining gears being blamed on Motive are from the installer and not from the Motive gears...

    Pretty much the only part that affects ride height is the spring. I plain on buying the Ford Racing M-5300-K very soon. Sure bigcat measurement of modded suspension ride height variance would be great. Thanks
