    that sounds about right to me. 3:73's on a auto doesn't do to much except give you a good 1-2 screech. my friend has them in his 03 auto and can't even pull on me in my 02 auto with 3:27's. he has more mods also.

    What's the largest tire that will fit a stock wheel?

    i put 275s all the way around pros- they look badass, can rotate cons- under full lock the tire rubs the fenderwell sometimes, seems harder to stop when you have to stop real quick, they fling up everything. expensive

    that time can't be right. there are guys running low 14's bone stock. i ran this time on bald street tires. and i launched at 2k at 1k and 1500 with the same results.

    you maybe could. just depends on where you get your alignment. if you do end up getting the cc plates get MM. they are the best next to Hotchkiss and you wont have any alignment probs like other brands like UPR and others

    I just talked to a pretty smart mustang guy and his conclusion is that i am bogging cause i have soo much traction with stock gears. but i thought that just launching at idle would be ok because of that but i guess not.

    hell yea thats the iac. it may not be bad. just unplug the sensor on it and blow inside to clean it out. debris gets in there and makes the car do that sometimes.

    does anyone know if the control arms from x2c motorsports are any good. they sound like they are and they are dirt cheap. but they saying "you get what you pay for" keeps going in my head. for like 140 you can get uppers and lowers

    i have no clue what could be the prob. i launched at 2 grand then at 1500 and then at 1 grand and nothing helped. i know i'm faster then this cause i can beat all my friends with low 14 cars, especially my friend that ran 14.6, i kick his ass.

    yea its probably your timing. you should try and blow in your iac valve also. could be both. :shrug:

    great point. when i hit 125 in my car is when i shut it down. it just doesn't fell like it can handle at that high speed.

    try ebay. my friend just got some off there for cheap and they are more comfortable that some of the sparco's i've sat in and they look good.

    Hard starting problem

    had the same prob and took it in uder warranty. they said my IAC valve was sticking and replaced it. when i got it out it did it again and i unhooked the little plug on the valve and blew in it to clean it out and it worked just fine. might try that. by the way my car is a 02 if that helps.
