    you don't need any wheels on the crane.,.................just push the car back after the engine is lifted out ........ that is what we did in the old days when all we had was a tripod with a chain block hanging down from the middle..........

    i don't like the second setup............or the first, unless you put some hubcaps on them........ for what ever my opinion is worth, i'd try and find a set of old school Cragers, aluminum slots, or Keystones ( the ones with the black spokes)

    the cost of good restored body work and paint is a BIG cost factor imho........that is where most of the projects i've seen start falling apart....everyone gets in and does all the mechanical work and the interior,,,,,then find out what it costs to do the body/paint and the car never get...

    is this a brand nw build ? if so, when you first fired it up, did you run it at a high RPM for 20 minutes or so to break in the cam ? or is that not an issue with a roller cam ?? :shrug:

    man,,,,,,,,,i am really rooting for that girl to fire up............... but it must be getting good spark, because when you rotated 180,,,,,,you had the big back fire..........:shrug: i'm leaning toward the cam/crank not being syncd with the distributor ?????????

    are you sure that the plug wire are on corrrectly AND going to the correct cylinder ???? at TDC with the rotor firing #1 plug, crank the engine and make sure that the wires are going to the correct cylinder. 289 firing order 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 4 | 8 3 | 7 2 | 6 1 | 5 Front of...
