    Steering rack limiters

    Thanks! There were no instructions w/ them. Since they are designed w/ a notch cut into them, they go on the outside of the rack between the inner tie rod where the shaft comes out of the housing. Is that correct? This is not an internal install is it? Thanks for the help!:nice: Just...

    Steering rack limiters

    Anyone ever install these to keep the inside of the wheel from rubbing the control arm? They install on the rack shaft under the bellows to limit the turning radius. Bought them from 50 Resto.

    If you have axcess to a torch, heating it up will def get it off. Otherwise you'll have to cut it off.

    4 or 5 lug? On a 9" wheel you want about a 6" b/s. That's what I have. Works out great. I don't have weld though. 4 lug I believe is 4x4.25" and 5 lug is 5x4.5"

    Unless you're using the car for auto cross there is no need to use anything else other than dot 3.

    Dot 3 fluid. Syphon the fluid out of the m/c reservoir and poor in new. Now start the bleeding process. r/r, l/r, r/f, l/f. Bleed each wheel until the fluid runs clean. Check periodically to make sure you don't run the m/c dry.

    It's pretty simple. Yo have to take the tube and the rubber hose and use them to be able to clear the header. I'll try and take some pics of mine tomorrow for you. It's really not that hard at all.
