    scratch in black paint

Sure, it's possible. Depends on how deep the scratch is. If it penetrated past the clearcoat, you're SOL. But...otherwise, you should be able to get it out. How to best get it out depends on how deep the scratch is. If it's pretty deep, you'll probably need to wetsand that area then go...

Whats the best wax for a black car??

OK guys, this is coming from someone who's used Zaino on my black cobra before. Zaino is nothing special. It's great for durability, but TERRIBLE for shine/wetness/depth. I put Zaino on my car the day after I bought it and I hated the way it looked. First of all, Zaino doesn't do much to...

Nu Finish "once a year car polish"

I'd stay away from 100% cotton towels. A good microfiber towel does a better job and is a bit safer on your paint. Also...if your polish is that hard to remove, I suggest either getting a PC to work it in better or some better polish.

    Claybar Question

nah...wash it first, make sure it's completely clean. You can clay it while it's wet or dry, just make sure you use some type of lubricant (either water w/ a bit of car soap mixed in OR the clay lubricant that they sell) while you clay. You might want to wash it again afterwards.

what exhaust set up in an 04 cobra

I love my magnaflows. They're dirt cheap and sound great. No drone at all with the stock h-pipe. My only complaint is that the tips don't look as good as the stingers.

New 04 or Keep my 02 GT

I traded up from my '03 GT to an '04 cobra. It's definitely a better car. I don't know if I'd take a big hit on your '02 GT to trade up though

    Claybar Question

Claying is definitely a good thing. I'd do it once a year if I were you. I detailed a 2001 volvo a couple of weeks ago that had never been clayed. The paint felt like sandpaper. Claying took care of it. :nice:

    Poor Paint Quality

My car has bad orange peel too. Not much you can do about it unless you feel like wetsanding it, which I wouldn't really recommend unless you know what you're doing.

Nu Finish "once a year car polish"

The most durable sealant/wax I've used is Zaino, and that lasts about 6 months. I don't think anything will last 1 year any time soon, especially if you wash your car regularly.

    Meguiars 3 step process?

I'd say there's much better stuff out there. You might want to browse around autopia.org...they have some great info on there. For red, I'd personally go with the same combo that I use...Poorboy's SSR 2.5 for swirls, Clearkote Vanilla Moose and Clearkote Carnauba wax.
