    H&R Super Sports Springs

i have supersports...i bought cc plates but haven't installed em yet. Didn't need to get an alignment done either. So no, you don't have to have them, but having them would help your front tires wear more evenly.

Who sells spring for a good price?

h&r supersports...they lower the car a bit more than 1.5, but it looks PERFECT! :D

    285/40/17 vs. 315/35/17 on a 17x10.5 rim

yeah...i've seen pics before though where the 315's look too wide. I don't want that to happen either.

    285/40/17 vs. 315/35/17 on a 17x10.5 rim

just wanted to get some feedback here...i'm leaning towards getting 285/40/17's on a 17x10.5 rim. Is this a bad idea? And if you have pics of either combo (preferably good pictures where you can see the whole rear of the car), that would be appreciated...thanks!

fyi...costco sells their oil for real cheap. I bought 2 cases (6 quarts per case) of Mobil 1 5w30 for $25 a pop :nice:

    X-pipes

a buddy of mine does smog checks at his place (in CA). He told me you may or may not pass depending on the inspector. You should pass the sniffer, but you may fail the visual if the inspector is anal. Here's a tip...find a shop that does quick work. The faster job they do, the less likely...

New Intake Plenum -- Worth It???

i got my c&l from ebay and I'm still using my stock T/B. It was definitely worth it, and I'm gonna add an accufab 75mm to it pretty soon.

HELP! Throttle cable stuck cuz of vacuum hose!

i got this tip from another thread...just take a few washers and put em up on the throttle cable link assembly (or whatever it's called). That'll hold it up higher, therefore move the throttle cable higher, and give you just enough clearance to get past that hose

    rear control arm

i spent 4 hours on trying to do mine before giving up...but that's mainly cuz i don't have all the right tools. I could probably finish it up in an hour or two (including the time needed to get the car on jackstands and remove/reinstall the wheels/tires) if I had the right equipment.

good place to get SFC's installed in SoCal?

can anyone recommend a shop to install some MM full length SFC's, preferably in the San Fernando Valley? I'd rather not take it to just any muffler shop, and X2C motorsports wanted way too much $$$ for it...

did my 4.10's at about 8k miles. They just had to replace one bearing.

    coilovers

i might be wrong, but I don't think H&R makes a cup kit for the stang... you might want to look into MM's kit: http://www.maximummotorsports.com/mmcopkg.asp

Anyone NOT do an alignment after a spring install?

i didn't do it either and I have H&R SuperSports. I bought MM CC plates that I never even used. They're still sitting in my garage... Tire wear is still fine so far, and I've put about 7k miles on since I got the springs installed.

    18" Tires on 03GT

i know you said you don't want to modify anything until your warranty runs out...but you'll definitely want to lower it. Putting 18's on a stock suspension makes the wheel gap look even worse. Besides, lowering it shouldn't do anything to your warranty (unless your dealer wants to be really...
