    doesn't the II's tranny pan differ from regular C4's ?? I was thinking that the filter at least allows for a deeper pan, or something like that. I could be wrong though. Anybody else got input on that. But if you're pulling the tranny out of something else it shouldn't much matter anyway.

    it's a safety ford put in the torque converters even in the 70's model stangs, you pull into first it won't go into first until the revs have come down enough not to break stuff unnecessarily, it's nice to have when you start horsing around and think you've broke something

    you can check the condition of the bushings on all cars so far with my experience by opening the door grabbing it at the bottom and lifting up, if it moves your bushings are bad, bad door alignment will just be noticed by looking at the profile of the car.
