    heres a set up for the 12's easy . your going to need to get a decent set of heads ( eldebrocks older casting are cheap and great) with a set of 1.7 rr's a performer rpm intake or systemax or equavilent . nice supporting bolt ons and a setr of slicks car will be way into the 12's...

    thats not necessarilly true ..... hmmm my combo is heads , 1.7's rr's , rpm manifold and a 150 shot go figure . daily driver no issues and no professional tunning , the is a slight stumble at idle every now and then but then the computer catches up and its fine . speed density worksss

    my car is weird ..... i had a converter in even with the stock 3.08 gears and i was cutting 1.80 60fts all day long with baby street tires lol. even now with 4.10 and heads and everything going mid 12's i dont really have traction problems unless from a dead stop on the street .

    heres a simple combo for ya , my car 88gt stock bottom end stock cam , 1.7'rr's , rpm intake and just other simple botl on's nothing crazy . with the older rpm heads with only 1.9 valve. on my bald 235/60/15 street tires ive been 12.8's at more than 108mph thats enough mph for bottom 12's...

    it took me a nice converter , some simple exhaust stuff , ud pullies and a cold air intake . through stock 3.08 gears and street tires and i got my best to a 13.56 id say its do able youll either need a converter for sure or gears tho

    just for a comparision i have the same heads as you but a performer rpm intake and stock cam . i do have 2.5 exhaust and 4.10 gears but i have seen 88+ mph in the 1/8 and am expecting maybe a 2+ mph gain with a custom cam . its got more in it .

    i g0t my stock heads cam car to a 8.28 w @ 1.78 60ft with stock suspension' ligten the car up if possible the only thing i had you dont was a cobra intake which help mph. get a nice set of welds big's and skinnes and have at it .

    just make sure you have a healthy motor . slap a nice set of heads on eldebrock or tfs or afr. and a matching intake manifold on . do you tranny and gears mod and make sure u have supporting bolt ons . thats what it took me to go a 12.80 at 108 with a 2.0 60ft in street trim on baby 235...

    i would ventur to say that is the same spacer you have to use with all the intakes not just the gt40 i would think that if you used that on a 93 cobra intake you t/b and , cai and everything would be in a slightly different location possibly causing clearance issues with your strut tower.
