    I just loosened my rear control arm bolts, regreased them with some heavy Lucas grease, then re-tightened them with the car backed up on ramps. It's quiet again, but we'll see for how long.

    I was afraid someone would suggest the pump, after I JUST filled it up. :fuss: I suppose the good news to this is that I work as a mechanic at an auto parts warehouse and can get a Focus pump for really cheap. Does it matter what year pump I get? 02-04 is the only year range we have listed.

    Do you have any of the IAC restriction mods in place? When I had one in the IAC muffler hose, my car would sometimes stall after thrashing on it a bit and making a sudden stop or turn.
