    I went with the Saleen kit, ordered it from Haney motorsports....paint and prep work were not to bad, install took a full day and a half. Kit didnt come with any of the 3M tape that is needed to help hold the stuff on. They also sent me two of the R/H side scoops instead of a Left and Right...

    Rank in order of loudness

    I have a P1SC and my roommate has a KB on his 03, the procharger is DEFINETLY louder at idle or just cruising around. The roots has a nice whine at WOT where the P1SC sounds like a loud whistle.

    Thoughts on hood "scoop"

    You can remove it, but your going to be left with some holes in your hood. The early scoops were held down with 7 (I think) fasteners, later scoops 01 and up are held on with just a couple bolts and nuts. If you drop your blanket, you can unbolt it and remove it.

    I went with the procharger a couple years ago and have had no problems out of it at all...99GT with the P1SC dyno'd 410 rwhp.

    price to get internals forged?

    Ditto what Sam said...maybe a little more since you also have to replace a few gaskets, new rings, dependng on miles on the motor, rod bearings and crank bearings and need new head bolts. (one time use). I rebuilt my 4V myself and ended up spending around 1200 for parts. Rich

    I've had mine on for a couple years now, definelty breaks up the all yellow, easy to install, If I was you, I would just order new Ford and GT badges. Rich
