Which headlight switch wire to tap into?

If you mean the feed for the guages lighting I would pick a source that is dimmed with the dimmer switch, think I used the a/c lighting feed. Matt

What's my car worth? Pics and details

Well, I will tell you straight, with the body looking the way it does, you will take a large loss on it. Especially if it is not sorted enough mechanically to simply blow a perspective buyer away. Needs a tune and a different torque converter....has some body issues i.e. does not look or run...

    Low Oil Pressure

Maybe I missed it but how are you checking your oil pressure? For reference my 1988 had oil pressure like yours, as it is not my daily driver I tore it down immediatley and every cam/rod/main bearing was shot, completely brass looking. I doubted my guage and borrowed a good tester to make...

    Help.......Codes 22, 44, 94

22 is map/bap out of range, 44 and 94 are emissions related so I assume you removed the emissions stuff. Matt

Canfields, AFRs, either way you need to know the cam specs. I'd fix the holleys and sell them but thats just me. Matt

    schematics

Anyone have a schematic handy for a 1988 gt, specifically all the light connectors, went chasing battery drains and found some ugly wiring in the headlight connectors, wiring that goes nowhere etc, like to fix it but am having a hard time finding a good schematic with what color wires go where...

    Tune Help PLEASE

I'm not exactly an expert but I would think a couple of dyno runs and tweaking timing and a/f would be a bandaid solution. Adaptive learning would be trying to push either too rich or too lean after just a few run cycles. If the mods are past what the computer can handle, you need it to "know"...

    Quick Easy question about re-build

I always put the valve covers on, two reasons, first I want to keep as much crap as possible out of the engine, and second if I am going to bang something up when I'm installing the motor, I'd rather it be a valve cover than a rocker/valve spring. Matt

    Lean at idle

With all the mods you have, you need a tune no way around it. Matt

    351C in a 89 fox body

A swap I'm considering as well, Here are a few thoughts on it in no specific order: An aod is going to have trouble dealing with a 351C. A c-4 beefed up would be a safer bet or a tko600. Special headers/oilpan are indeed needed, I bought the moroso pan for mine, was about 300 bucks. Have...

    Engine builds

How about a NA 351W in your vert? Yeah a little more trouble but to make your hp levels, you could keep it NA and fuel injected. Matt

    stator wire

At least on my car which is a 1988 with a 3G alternator, the stator wire is connected from the 3 pin plug on the alternator, to the stator plug a couple inches away on the alternator. Stator is white and black, there is also a yellow and white that goes from the same 3 pin plug to the power...

    computer programming

Let me share this with you, I have a 1988 GT with hci, larger injectors matched to the maf, short equal length headers, msd box etc, all the usual bolt ons. I used tuner rt pro and moates gear to set a basic tune and cannot go further without datalogging ability. All I did is input a better...

    computer programming

A C&L 76 and an e-cam eh, I run the same exact setup with world heads and I've been fighting with tuning it to run properly. Until I actually started tuning it via the ecu you could flip a coin as to how it would run. An E-cam is not a great cam but it will give you some more kick and abit of...

Engine Rebuild - Do It Yourself - Info.

Not to rain on your parade but from the sound of your post you would be better off to buy a shortblock. Add the last few parts to it and install it. Figure a nice stroker kit around a grand, between renting/buying tools you do not own plus all the machine work on your block and assembly costs...

    computer programming

Popular lately is to do the datalogging via tweecer/rt and a wideband 02, figure out what changes you want to do/run the log through EA, then implement the changes with a moates setup that can be reburned over and over thus freeing up your tweecer. Matt
