    Dead battery light is turning on and off HELP!! PLEASE!!

    Are you running underdrive pulleys? If so, this could be one cause if your light is coming on at low speed/RPM. My battery light comes on all the time, but my voltage doesn't drop. Once you get it scanned, if it doesn't throw any codes, I wouldn't worry about it.

    Degreeing the cams should help you out a little bit - 400 to the rear is definitely possible - I just hope that having N/A cams doesn't hurt you. PTV shouldn't be an issue as long as you re-program your shift points to a conservative RPM level.

    Fresh Off Dyno...Numbers Way Low?!?

    I was Dyno'd by JAWS Racing here in Tallahasse, FL - with an Auto, no cams, shorties, basic boltons, at 259RWHP and 292 RWTQ, without nitrous. Your injectors may be maxed out with your heads and cams, upgrade to 24LB and head back to the tuner/dyno.

    Coil Packs / Plugs

    If you're going to swap out the COP's and Plugs, go with those accels but stay away from the NGK's. Get some original Motorcrafts, it's not uncommon for aftermarket plugs to shoot out of the heads.

    I'm running Granatelli's and consistently get 1.90 60's on Nitto Drag Radials, automatic trans, and 3.73's - stock stall. The Granatelli's uppers and lowers are solid, and as long as you grease the bushings every 6 months or so they work flawlessly. Don't waste money on MM's or other flashy...

    2003 4.6 Rear end gears

    I put in 3.73's and wish that I had gone with 4.10's. With 3.55's on a MANUAL trans you won't notice anything, maybe a tenth at the track.

    Tune FO SHO! Your idle should improve a bit, but a cammed motor tends to have that smell like it's spitting a few drops of gas out the back.
