    There was a car called the Boss 351. It was a 99 Mustang body that Ford put a 351 cid V-10 into as sort of a '"what if...?" project. I think they got it into the mid 11's with slicks. Doubt it will ever see production. It was is an old issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords.

    Drive both and see which one you like better. Personally I would get the GT and spend the extra $7-8k to make it a real screamer both in the straight line and in the twisties.

    Well I wasn't impressed ....

    I think that Ford will continue to make subtle changes to it and add some styling pieces (scoops, stripes, etc...) after the initial launch of the car. Personally I like the 05's looks and clean styling. I'm not a big fan of fake scoops unless they actually serve a purpose.

    I was pretty disappointed with the Roush and the Steeda wasn't that great either. Hope Shelby comes out with something good soon...

    Do we need to go any further than this? If you want the 300 hp for a low price, then buy it. If you want more, then either wait for the SVT or the aftermarket. Oops, sorry for the double post.

    And now... a completely hypothetical question...

    Boss 302 using the 302 Cammer, shaker, lowered and tightened suspension, retro interior like the Bullitt and Mach 1's, and a stripe package similar to the '69 Boss. I would place the performance and price between the GT model and the SVT.

    Today I saw a blue GT on the streets. It was on Hwy 20 in Lawrenceville, Ga. Does anyone know anything about this? Has the GT gone on sale yet?

    OK here's more info... I was near Fayettville in Cumberland County. The posted speed limit was 70 and I was clocked at 92. It was a state trooper that pulled me over and I was nice and courteous to him. He wrote me a ticket and gave me a court date on 8/24/04. This is my first ticket in four...

    I've been in, driven the 2005-Pics

    I'm 6'2 and I dont have any complaints about the shifter/pedal/wheel location on my 95 GT 5 speed. Usually when I drive, I can rest my hand on the shifter ball.

    I'm with Vyto on this one. Although I love Saleen's perfromance, their body kits and sticker packages are a little too flashy for me. Great work on the photoshop though :nice:

    Cool. I would like to see a new Charger. Some real competition for the Mustang would be a good thing. If Chrysler makes the Charger and GM does right with the GTO, the big three could be in another horsepower war and that would be a win-win situation for us all, regarldess of our brand loyalty...

    What paint Colors you like to see on the 05 Mustang

    Black, True Blue, Dark Shadow Gray, or Torch Red. I think Ford oughta offer a stripe package where you could use any Mustang color for stripes on any other Mustang color. That would add SOOOOOOO many possibilities....
