    Tint

^^ Exacly what I was thinking. Not every vehicle seals perfectly and water can get onto the inside and run down the inside of the window. Normal washing wouldn't do it, but not everyone is normal:D

Richmond Excel 3:55 Gear Install Questions

A dial indicator is not a dial caliper. If you have .008-.014 backlash then it's good. As far as the paint markings they look good. The first test drive will tell the tale. good luck.

    Why was this cut?

That's good you found the problem and that you posted your find and fix. What or who would have cut this? I mean was it in your garage or a garage you work at? Two batteries that's not cheap.

Richmond Excel 3:55 Gear Install Questions

Anywhere from .008 to .014 is acceptable, but like was already said .010 is near perfect. You do have a dial indicator right?

Do I have everything I need for my gear install?

Are you doing it yourself? All it takes is time and patience don't be in a big hurry to get it done, take your time measuring, and tightening everything. That 'S' spring for the traction lock is a bugger, I compressed it in my vise then tightened a hose gear clamp around it. It then went in...

    Is He Missing Anything?

Depending how many miles are on the car and how it looks, I replaced my pivot stud and release lever also the clutch cable. For the amount of money these things cost I think it is worth it. Also don't forget to put some high temp grease on the TOB shaft and a little on the face of the TOB...

Please help turn signal fuse keeps blowing

From what I can tell the fuse only controls the turn signals or flashers. You obviously have a short to ground. The problem is at the switch or the flasher. Make sure your turn signal and hazards are turned off before you try another fuse. Check wiring under the dash for any wires that might...
