    well that sounded true on my new 99 Cobra I got Wednesday:D , but after a inspection on the lift at my speed-shop, everything was OK and I paid almost 3000 under the NADA book value on the cobra. So it's possible he has a top notch deal here..............but be carefull and get it checked out...

    yep, I had to buy a matched set for my 98 because the front ones were off a bullitt and the rears (deep dish's) did NOT look right. Good thing was Mustang Tuning sells them pretty cheep. :nice:

    PI swap HP

    If you are going to use the factory cams with the heads and PI intake, around 40hp is a close bet. However if you want some extra power I would suggest a set of cams like VT stage 1's or the comp 262's or 270's. :D

    Hmmmm, thats going to be my only problem with mine, my Comp 278XE cams are HUGE (the bigges comp has for the 4.6) and is listed as haveing a very rough idle. Mabye I can tell people I have a severe exhaust leak.:rlaugh: :rlaugh:

    My 98 has a Trans-go shiftkit and has also been helped with increased pressure and a revised shift pattern from my custom burnt diablo chip, Im happy with what I have.

    Thats what im looking for in my 98GT, people see it and say "oh he has a old weak non PI 4.6 he doesnt have sh**" and then after they get their doors blown off, they wonder what motor I do have under my hood. :D The 96 to 98GT's make great sleeper cars. :D

    If you want to go fast you have to have the cash, the list of parts here is a very good example of the money it cost to have that kind of power. You have a well laid out plan, follow it and you should get what your after. :nice:

    Washer Fluid won't spray

    If the temp is that low, yea it could be frozen, pop your hood and try to trace the hose that the fluid goes thru. My wifes 2000 V-6 had this problem and it was traced back to a pinched hose that was cutting off the fluid flow.

    thats right, I got the info packet from ATI last year, and the gains range from 55% to 70% just depends on what intercooler you have and what boost you will run, 8 10 or 12 is what the book has.

    Dyno results with Comp Cams thanks to SCT

    anybody have, or know of anyone who has the 278XE's? Thats what is going on my new motor :D , my car IS NOT a daily driver so the large grinds wont be an issue for me, according to comp they make HUGE power, almost 80hp over what the stock PI cams make, of course there is a loss of tq below 3500...
