    Edelbrock Intake Help?

    hey just wondering what mods youve done,I heard 75mm tb might be a waste on a stock heads, a recent mag article tested 65,70 and 75mm and thier dyno numbers showed little to no increase in hp with any thing bigger then 65mm.Just my 2 cents.

    extender,chip,or both?

    judging by the response, I guess that was a dumb question. Im just trying to figure out what an extender has to offer as opposed to a complete dyno tune with say an autologic chip.

    I been thinking of doing the same thing, what kind of paint did you use? I wanted to coat the upper intake to keep it a cooler.What did you sand/clean it up with first?

    I wasn't impressed by the casting either, and the mac elbow adapter looks like a hunk of concrete, I had to clean that up quite a bit also. We get what we pay for I guess.One typhoon intke soon to be for sale. :rolleyes:

    yeah, on page 55 of 5.0 magazine it says they're using "Magnetti Marelli" throttle bodies now.has any one heard about drilling the 1/4 " hole in the t.b to help with idle issues?
