Leave the drain plug out while filling(only option you have if you don't have an aftermarket cover with a fill plug). Fill the case until the fluid starts flowing out of the drain plug(squirt in the friction modifier first). Allow fluid to drain until it about stops. The fluid should be level...

    SN95 brakes quick question

If I'm not mistaken in 96 Ford upgraded the ball joints to the lower friction joints. If you are just getting replacements from AutoZone and such they are all the same part number 94-04. It really doesn't matter the year of the spindle. As I am sure most know the difference in the 94-95...

    SN95 brakes quick question

:nonono:Please step away from the car and put the tools down. j/k Seriously though, you make anything take longer and make it harder when you do it the wrong way!

It's a ground wire that attaches to the lower metal frame of the dash. I might be mistaken but I think there a two ground wires that connect under the dash in the middle. Keep up the good work.

    SN95 brakes quick question

I'm sorry but this is wrong. Also, I don't understand the thinking. Your gonna change ball joints anyways? Why not get the the upgraded "lower friction" ball joints for 96+ and not have to worry about the spacers(it's like a 5-minute process and they fit fine). It would be different if your...

    sscobra's 89 Coupe Build

Got the headlights in today. I also modified the headlight housings and the stock harness to accept the 9007 bulbs(94+) instead of the 9004s(87-93). I'm waiting on some stealth bulbs(for the park lamps). They should clean them up even more.

You should do the cobra grill insert. A mustang should have never been offered without the pony in the grill, imo. You might think about this spoiler. To me it's the best production spoiler ford made. Just leave the emblems off. Plus the cobra spoiler looks a little tall in relation to the...

Another option might be powdercoating them. I'm planning on powdercoating mine in "almost chrome". It looks as close to polished aluminum/chrome as I think you could get. Plus, the finish would be durable and easy to clean. They make "header" powdercoatings in some...
