    I'm not sure the shock mounts are up to the task of supporting the weight of the car. I'll take a look at mine out in the shop tomorrow again.. Most of the import guys are dealing with a lot less weight and their cars are typically mcPherson strut anyways..

    The kit is PN 15881 http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=American&id=358 The pipes that come off the car were flattened slightly as they went over the rear axle (factory made them that way) - However - I do not think that this slight flattening would make a lot of difference...

    Manual 5 speed. The only dyno I ran it on was the Levi's Dyno.. Shifting - I don't power-shift this car (accelerator left on the floor while banging gears) - I lift / shift / hammer the throttle... The Tremec TR3650 is not nearly as stout as it's Cousin the TR3550 while it is a good deal...

    Cat - I was thinking along the same lines until... Until I looked at the 3/4 rear picture (2nd one) and saw the contour of the fender. If he were to have put a break line in there, it would have destroyed the contour. This metal is so bloody thin it's pathetic. It's going to take some work...

    Thanks Scro... I'll check it out when it's on jack-stands this weekend for his new exhaust system.. :) That explaination actually sounds plausible since there is no particular rhythm to the sound and the sound would be typical of an aluminum tag jingling against something..

    I get it whenever the car is in motion - I can put my foot on the clutch and let the engine go to idle, put it under a heavy load (5th gear at 30) - no difference... Just a very light pinging type sound. I've pretty much ruled out detonation due to the fact that the sound is there regardless...
