    Mustang GT or 350Z?

I shopped the 350Z, Honda S2000 and the Mustang. Obviously I chose the Mustang. Both the Honda and Nissan are more refined cars. Their handling is far above the capability of the Mustang in stock form. Both the Nissan and the Honda don't build a lot / much power until they are well up in...

coupe vs. vert - need feedback

I struggled with the same question. Then I looked at a few Converts that had spent a couple of years outside. Being realistic and not having a place to keep my car in from the elements / weather / jerks with egss etc - I decided to do the Coupe.. No regrets...

Ford Dropping MyColor option for the redesign

My car was ordered without the MyColor option (by the dealer). I wish I had it now, bit not for the color-changing ability - I just want the extra guages instead of idiot lights.. If anyone with a GT wants to swap their MyColor dash for one without it - let me know!

    Going full synthetic? huh

A very good and longtime friend is a Petrochemical Engineer that works for many different oil companies auto manufacturers as a consultant. We've had a number of conversations about Synthetics vs. Fossil. According to him there are few rules; 1) Oil (fossil or synthetic) never wears out...

Dealer Beware (Long but need to get the word out)

BINGO.... I'm certainly not trying to be an @$$ either but there was a device installed on this car by someone other than Ford or an authorized dealer that could have very well endangered lives. This was the point I was trying to make when I said that I could see their view as well. If...

Dealer Beware (Long but need to get the word out)

I guess I can sort of see their view as well. Either way - Their insurance should have paid for the damages and the repairs should have been done the correct way. There's a good reason to not install remote or autostart systems on a car with a standard transmission. I've had problems with...

thoughts on the rear window louvers?

I can say that I find this true of all the side (quarter ) window louvers, but I've not seen the rear window louvers painted before.. Not sure how it would look.

thoughts on the rear window louvers?

Hi Frank, I have the aluminum MRT Louvers on my rear window and I like them a lot. No rattles and virtually invisible in the rear view mirror. Installation was relatively easy.

    160* Thermostat

Heat = HP The only reason to run a cooler t-stat in any car is to reduce the temperature of the intake charge. You really can't and shouldn't do that with a computer controlled car.
