    Stupid speed limiter

    I was racing my friends 89 GTI with a modified VR6 motor and his race weight was just under 2200lbs. I was with 2 of my friends and 2 large bags lol I didnt think I would be racing that night. Ist go he accelerated over me but after 120 I passed him and let off about 135 without overdrive rpms...

    Its called RAM AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the 05 does not have it, the Mach 1 HAS IT!. Until we see RAM AIR on these mustangs.... they are not going to be the best that they can be.

    Just get a hypertech or a chip and that will raise the rpm governer. However with 3:90's or 4:10's you shouldnt have a problem reaching 160.

    Hehe.. And about the Ranger thing... lol that was what a friend told me. I just hate how some people compare our cars to those compacts which are just one assembly with no front or rear I beams and no frame... those compacts are just toy cars of plastic that run. I like cars with steel frames...

    New cars are always dogs at first.... When I first got my car it was pretty panzy. I broke her in as I should and DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she finally grew balls. That note aside, the 05 DOES NOT have ram air induction which is what it SHOULD have. Those 2 points answer the why.

    I have had mine pulling like a horny blonde on her first time going over 140 on the highway and shut her down at around 145 cause of the curve in the highway and instinct told me to back off....
