    I could have sworn I saw an '05 Mustang on a car carrier today.

    A buddy of mine has a 05 F150 with the 3V 4.6L and there are no problems with it. It is my understanding that the 3V used in the F150 is not much different than the one that will be dropped in the car.

    Correction Ford bought Mazda along with Volvo and Aston Martin..... Ford is so large that they bought Jaguar as well.............. Ford if anything would BUY Toyota and become the biggest auto company since the biggest are GM Ford, Damlier chyster.

    Power and aerodynamics

    Thats true... I however have speed tested my 2000 Mustang GT auto once and let off the gas at 145mph because I went into the curve and the first lap was enough for me to know that nearly 150mph is more than enough and I was surprised as to how well she handled going that fast.

    What do you think about the 05's power and aerodynamics? I believe that the 300hp rating is actually wheel hp simply because Ford has been underrating the hp. I also know that with the new technology 3 valve heads and varible cam timing, it is using technology that Honda uses to make those 120hp...

    talked to one of the 05s designers today............

    Drag It looks like the 05 is actually lower and similare to the LS1 camaros. Yes there are edges but are smoothed out in such a way that would have very little drag. Honestly it seems that the 05 would be slightly more silky at high speed than the pre gen stangs.

    Im sorry I thought you were serious as to compare those cars to a 03 Cobra which mind you is supercharged and has nearly 400hp TO THE WHEELS! I hope that you are talking about a 99-02 Cobra...

    Displacement is not always necessary! The 4.6 has some of the most potential just look at some of these cobra guys getting over 700whp and some 800whp. The 4.6 is big in comparison to alot of these ricers getting over 200whp out of their 2.0 dohc honda S2000's. Ford's 4.6 has so much more...
