lowering rear of car w/o blocks (long)

I was getting ready to do it the original way but this way looks easier. It appears that you cut the same amout off of each leaf. How much did you cut to get the 3/4" drop? Is this alright to do for a street car? Thanks

    18" Cobra R's on 67 Fastback

Don't think you will be able to get 9.5" rims to fit the front. I know on 17x8's most use a 1" spacer on the front to allow clearance for the upper ball joint or have the rims cut down to 7' and don't run a spacer. The rears would probably fit but you would need around a 7/16" to 1/2" spacer.

    1971-73 Mustang Pictures

All those wheels appear to me to be look like rims with backspacing for the SN95 mustang platform 99-04. The first are bullitts the fronts are more than likely 8" wide and the rears 10.5". In the second set of pics they are Cobra R's. I on the 69-70's you need to run a 1" spacer in the front...

    Proportioning Valve

Thanks for the info. Does the shuttle valve restrict the flow of fluid when it activates the switch for the brake warning light? Or is it just activate the switch? Thanks I just want to do this the correct way. Your right you don't hear about the brake lines going out often.
