    Charging issues

I will assume you are talking about a stock charging system, with that thought in mind you didn't mention anything about the voltage regulator. Have you tried replacing it?

    AOD in 69 Mach 1

When I pulled a trans out of a early 90's fox body it looked like that. I was going to use it but heard that the T-5 yoke was stronger and went this route. Rosehillperformanceparts

    AOD in 69 Mach 1

Don't understand how you made a transmission mount with some 1/4" steel and a welder for ~$20, most of them use a rubber mount of some type, ;) now if you meant a transmission crossmember than that is my plan. Thanks, need to get that and the lokar bracket for the TV cable and I'll be about...

    rim fitment question 17x9.5 275/40/17

Yours does have a nice clean look. The clamps on mine are actually stock Ford Anti-Moan brackets that are factory installed from Ford. I chose this setup for the ease of obtaining parts locally at most any reputable parts store.

    rim fitment question 17x9.5 275/40/17

Yes I used there complete kit. The bracket bolts to their adapter which bolts to the axle housing. The hubcentric spacer fits between the rear axle and the rotor.

    rim fitment question 17x9.5 275/40/17

It depends on the kit you use. For instant the Vintage Venom kit I am using to run discs front and rear increases the front 1" and the rear 7/16", this doesn't include the thickness of the rotor hats. Here's some pics of mine with the Cobra brakes and 17's.

    rim fitment question 17x9.5 275/40/17

Agree with Snakepilot, you have a lot of variables with your plan. Depending on the kit you get they adjust your track width, also whatever rims you get now might not work with the G-bar or RCs kit.

[/U][/I] And when you do this you can get really neat cracks in the upper mounting points requiring it to be replaced. Or if you do it exceptionally well you might be able to shove the whole shock thru the upper mounting point. In other words the upper shock mounting point was not designed...

Yes I am getting ready to do the 3G upgrade, using the ALT out of a 94-95 V8 mustang. Going to get the pulley swapped off my old alternator, just wanted to make sure I didn't need any sort of spacer under it. Thanks for the link on all the 3G info.

Ok off topic, when you installed the pulley off your old alt to the 3G alt was it a direct swap?

Front Drum to Disc Conversion Questions?

If you keep it non-powered you will need a different master cylinder. I think you will need new brackets to attach the hoses to the frame. An adapter to make your stock hard lines attach to the new hose. (one side only) If you choose power a booster w/master cylinder and new pedal. Also...
