    what do you mean you "cut them off"... you mean you removed the stock mid pipe, cut the cats out, and sectioned and welded in straight pipe to the STOCK? or did you just buy an aftermarket catted H/X pipe w/ hiflow cats??

    yes it will put the check engine light on. The sensors detect not whether or not the cats are ON, but whether or not they are working... gutted cats don't do there job (they dont "work" essentially) which is picked up by the rear 02 sensors. You're BEST off (if that makes sense) by running...

    my advice is just be careful with the MAF housing (the plastic black tube) because when i tightened the bolts, i cracked it. Then i cracked it in another place trying to epoxy it. I finally said **** it and bought the C&L system with the 85mm metal housing, and was done with it.

    That's all I've been hearing about it. So far i've heard crap about everything MAC makes. I wouldnt trust a damn thing from them. I have personally the C&L Tru-fit pipe, dont count it out of options for a new intake. It's great. It fits so perfectly, i was amazed. :shrug:

    6 quarts, dont forget the filter holds some oil, too. And good choices on the oil. Redline or mobil 1. I personally use Mobil1 I recommend either Magnaflow's X or SLP's X pipe.. But what do you mean how is borla's cat back?? you have it! What do YOU think??? If it's too quiet, get something...

    10mm is width is going to make microscopic differences in acceleration and top speed. You're not going to notice. It will be fine.

    offroad H and flowmaster cat back if you what it deep, and throaty. I'd go with a C&L intake. BBK's is absolutely HORRIBLE. I know from experiance. It cracked my MAF housing, the pipe was small, the pipe heated up, and the filter barely fit in the wheel well without beating the piss out of it...

    If you're not racing, get some good all season sports car tires. I'd look into BFG since they have a great selection for snow/rain/dry "performance" tires. They'd be your best bet I would imagin.
