Which hook are you using? I believe for a stock cable you're supposed to use the hook closest to the firewall. Mine wouldn't go on until I backed my F/W adjuster all the way in (like you said you did), so the only thing I can figure is the placement @ the quadrant (or a wrong cable).
This is a quote...
VPWR: Battery voltage signal only, not intended to carry high current load.
Sounds like your B+ signal wire going to part of your EVAP system (i.e. EVAP canister purge valve, etc.). I doubt it's going to be a pigtail harness, just part of the connector going into whichever...
Go for it, that's a pretty good deal and I don't see how it could be worn out.
I'm pretty happy with my Tri-ax...I'm sure it'd be smoother if the 3650 wasn't so notchy.
I hate to throw a wrench in the mix but here she goes...
I have the screw in type. I went to the dealer to get a new one and they changed the design of the elbow coming off of the top. I ended up having to get a whole new pipe from the PCV to the IAC valve. The bends are slightly different and...
Let's mix the 2...I've had this problem on both my Stang and my '98 Taurus. The Taurus had the alarm horn; on the Stang it was the dome light not shutting off. Same fix...soak, and I mean SOAK the door latches with WD40. Fixed 'em both :nice:
QFT...I believe (and I could be wrong) all of the pulley kits (including the Steeda set I've got) are designed to retain the stock belt. The only time you need a different one is when you add another pulley for, say, a blower :nice:
I live/work in the "big city" so to go down there and live for a few days I really understand the meaning of "the simple life".
I told the wife of the man that built the cabin that we all came down for the Dragon (in case you haven't heard of it there's a link in my text above...it's an 11...
We left Columbus around 5:30 pm on Friday and after 1 food stop, 1 gas stop and one to figure out why our buddy's Audi A4 had no low-beams we didn't get to the Tail of the Dragon til around 1 am. This is where it gets ugly...the GPS feature on the Motorola V3M doesn't work if you don't have a...
Aside from what I just came in from doing in the back yard (for the 3rd time this week!) it refers to the stance of your car, front sitting lower than the back. Think of an old muscle car and how they sat up in the rear...
Might seem like a stupid idea, but I've worked on older cars that have bad e-brake cables that are rusted and don't allow the handle to go back down all the way, causing the switch to get flipped on. Does you're handle go all the way down?

Yea, so I just got back in from installing a stock cable, replacing my 3 week old Steeda POS. MAN what a difference! Gotta love upgrading back to OEM parts :bang:
