    Hurst short throw

My dad had a Hurst in his 03 zo6 thatt I drove quite often and liked it in there, so I bought one for my car when it had 500 miles on it, now it has 8700 miles. It was alittle tight at first but is great now and was a big step up from the factory unit in my opinion.

    4:10's or 4:30's, 5spd/daily driver/radials

I would go with the 430s if you don't spend much time on the highway. If you do more highway driving go 410s. Either way you'll see a nice improvement on the drag tires at the track.

First time to the track, i need help. Bad traction, upset w/ time =/

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's good to have a goal but everything takes practice and the track is alot different then the street. Seems like the track prep was alittle crappy that day also if your spinning so much with a stock car. From my experience I run the fastest time when shifting...

Where to shift on the new stangs

When my car was completely stock I would shift right a red line (6000rpm). With the tune I have on my car now I changed my rev limiter to 6900 and I shift at around 6700-6800.

    4.10 or 4.30 with 5speed and 19in rims

I do alot of highway driving so I went with the 4:10s. After driving with them on the highway about 500 miles, they are as far as I would want to go doing 50/50 city highway. But if I only did very little highway I would go with the 4:30s because I changed me rev limiter to 6800.

    Steering Wheel

Like ruffy said take it to a good alignment shop, they can adjust the steering wheel position. I had this problem with my 5.0 after I had the alignment done and they didnt adjust the steering and center was slightly to the right.

How to get to 400+ NA??

I think it could be done with stock rotating assembly, Just ported heads, cams, longtubes, intake, and a good tune. I'm planning on doing this over the next 3 years so I'll see.

    Attitude improvement

It all depends on the kid. I started at 15 with a permit and learned to drive in the 1992 5.0 auto. Got in an accident with it at 17, rear ended a girl who made a U turn in front of me while I was going 45mph (brakes in the 5.0 suck). She ended up being 15 with a permit with no adult in the...

    Quarter mile time

With a bit more practice and some less humid cooler weather your stock 5 speed gt will get well into the 13s. But 14.4 isnt bad for and inexperienced driver and non ideal conditions. By the way Clean what was you 60ft

    Quarter mile time

no sticky tire, and I didnt let any air out. With more practice I may be able to get a bit lower 60ft. But in better conditions I was able to run a 8.58 1/8th as apposed to 8.8 so theres alot left in it.

    Axel Moan

I have the same question as you allcarfan. Is it just annoying or is it a real mechanical/failure issue? I can live with the noise and I really dont like people taking my car apart except me.
