    Battery Dead...Dont know why...

So I took it in today, they tested the battery it failed. Replaced it no charge (no pun intended). So I've got my fingers crossed that this is the end of my problem.

    Battery Dead...Dont know why...

I had this happen again yesterday. The 'Stang only sat for about 18 hours from driving the night before. I put it on the charger and came back to pour through the TSB's (thanks bigcat) and found the one on the little inspection window for the battery. So after charging for about an hour (not...

    WFC10

All you World Ford Challenge fans WFC10 will be in Indianapolis next time May 17-20th. It's an extra two hours on my drive over St. Louis, but I'll be there. Just thought you all might want to know and if you have never been check it out. I'm not affiliated in any way but have been to the last...

Couple things I don't like about my Mustang

In this configuration you would either need a hatch which adds more weight while taking away rigidity or a sloping trunk which is harder to seal and would likely cause visibility problems. If you have ever sat in one of those 2nd gen 'Stangs ('67 and '68 ) and looked in the rearview mirror even...

Vortech & Paxton Need Your 2007 GT! Auto and Manual!

Aw, come on you're not gonna find too many unmodded 'Stangs here. If my place of business wasn't in there slow season I'd have my stock exhaust back on in a heartbeat, lie about my cars age and drive to SoCal. :D

GearHeads Help Me Out - Exhaust ?'s

Yeah the Bassani's are nice, especially with the X. I have mine sticking out a bit more so it looks as obnoxious as it sounds. Quiet Mustang is an oxymoron to me.

    Battery Dead...Dont know why...

Check for the thread 'Car Won't Start' I would link it but apparently I'm a moron as I have not figured out how yet. It's near the bottom of the third page here in 2005+ GT Tech.

    aston martin engine

Yes, very nice. I want one, but don't think I could afford it, the wheels on it start at $1014 apiece. The thing is I posted on another thread a complaint about the $535 apiece billet wheels I want, and will probably get if my Fox gets sold. :bang: They really need a smiley crying its eyes...

    JLT CAI/SCT II vs. C&L/Diablosport

I don't have a CAI yet but have been researching it for awhile and the JLT seems to offer the most bang for the buck. The only reason I've waited this long is that I have a buddy who is an SCT dealer and I'm trying to see if he can't get me a better deal on the Xcal.

    Drags any guesses?

If you plan on drag racing much you might wanna get a set of skinnies to throw on at the track to drop front end weight and aid in weight transfer at launch. But yeah I see low 12's easy on a good run if not 11's. Check out Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords Oct 2006 issue (12's Or Bust) they ran a...

Anyone drop a 6sp into their Stang yet?

So not really worth the fuel saving, unless you drive it alot.

    License plate Frame on eBay

Someone was building one on here. I wish I would have waited to buy or fab one before drilling my bumper cover. I'll try to find the thread and link it.

trac control yes or no when racing

Traction control will apply the rear brakes in pulses like antilock and/or reduce power thru fuel or spark. Whereas a moderate amount of wheel spin will keep your revs closer to peak power. Too much wheel spin can make for a bad launch and no wheel spin can cause bogging. It all boils down to...

2005 Mustang GT Stroker Kit 302

Wow, thanks for the flame Captain Opinion, but if you read my ENTIRE post I stress that you do YOUR RESEARCH as you in all caps claim that I have not. Seriously your opinion matters, my opinion matters but OZAN169 is the one ponying up the cash so try to focus here on helping him or her. By like...

2005 Mustang GT Stroker Kit 302

If you want more cubes I would go with a new shortblock from somewhere like Sean Hyland Motorsport. It costs more but is worth it for the extra durability and peace of mind. Only my opinion, but it's easy to research and decide if the money is worth it. Or if you do decide to stroke and poke...
