    Suspension ****

I have those same arms, and wish I'd never have done them. My car's WAY too much of a daily driver for them. The big issue I have with them is the fact that any movement at all in the car makes the bushings on the arms squeak like hell. Your car's going to be a completely different beast...

    Now that's a funky smell!

One of the best things I've ever used for something like that is a 50/50 mix of water and wintergreen scented isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. This actually kills the odors, as opposed to masking them. I've seen the bottles of alcohol in a few different scents, if wintergreen isn't your thing.

Vibration on take off, terrible on inclines

I'll also suggest that it's the clutch. I had bought the Fidanza set the same time I bought my aluminum flywheel, and it grabbed great for about a month. After that, it started sounding like a belt sander whenever I would let the clutch out, pedal effort increased greatly, and my 3650 really...

Can I see some pics of stangs with projector headlights?

Oh, absolutely. You have to be patient, not afraid to use the stove, and clean them thoroughly enough before resealing. Once I have my stockers cleaned up enough to throw back on, I'm going to swap them out and take a crack at modifying those projector housings a bit.

Can I see some pics of stangs with projector headlights?

I have those in black, and hated the bars on the sides. I ended up tinting over them. Sorry the pictures are so dark. That's about the best I have of them right now. I ended up putting Silverstar Ultras in them, and it's the best I've ever been able to see at night in any vehicle...

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

Damn, dude. Your Fox looks effing badass with those FR500s on it.

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

My 'Stang wasn't so bad in the snow when I had stock tires and suspension, but now that I have steamrollers out back paired up with a locker, it's a nightmare. If I let off of the gas at all, it just kicks the back end out almost every time.

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

I've been looking for some 335s this past month. There aren't too many companies that make them, but I'll definitely have some new ones by next summer. Those ones on the car have seen their day and then some. I picked these up a few years ago from Wheel Replicas, when they were still selling...

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

Ha, the Cherokee goes in for a remote start/alarm on Wednesday at Car Tunes. Mine won't be as crazy as yours though... It just starts the truck, unlocks the doors, and has a decent alarm for $149. The biggest reason I am getting it is because this stock Chrysler keyfob works from all of 1 foot...

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

It's all good, I must have edited the post 10 times, so you might have caught an 'original draft'. I work in a parts warehouse, so the front coils were $60 for me. They are a bit stiff, but they won't sag at ALL with the big heavy bumper I'm putting on the front. It's kind of funny, but I...

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

Heh, I'm doing that backwards right now. I've been throwing money at the XJ left and right lately, and the poor 'stang has been sitting under the covered spot getting dusty. My Cherokee has 198k on it, and the rear main is also spotless. Only leaks I've had to deal with was the valve cover...

For those of you in the snow belt, what's your winter beater? *PICS*

A few weeks ago, I traded my 1981 Bronco mud bogger for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. I needed something good in the snow, and the Bronco was garbage to drive on anything other than mud, due to the 44" tires. I've been slowly fixing up the Cherokee to 'my standards', and here's where we are at with it...

Which cars do you guys think sound as good as mod and push rod stangs?

Aston Martin V8 with fuse 22 removed.... I will also agree with BurningRubber on the BMW engines... I would kill for a nice 540 in a five speed.

    Help With Violent Vibration

In my experiences with funny noises and vibrations similar to the ones you had mentioned, it ended up being a completely toasted throwout bearing on one occasion, and on another, one of the pieces of my clutch plate had cracked off most of the way, and was hitting parts of the outer edge of the...

my car will not really do a burnout

Do a J-mod, ditch your spare tire and jack, get a Steeda timing adjuster or a handheld programmer and advance your timing, enjoy nice, long burnouts.

That must feel great to be able to do that in such a behemoth. Make a video!

more new stuff on the truck

Damn, man. That's nice. I'm jealous that you can just throw 35s on like that. I've got to lift my Cherokee 3" to barely clear the 31x10.50 Baja Claws that have been sitting in my living room for a week.

Is this opportunity knocking? $8,000 1999 GT

The only thing I feel this car has going for it is the one owner business, and the decent amount of miles. I'd be afraid of so many alarm systems messing with each other. I HATE having to work on cars with electrical problems AND alarms, especially the ones where the owners don't have the...
