need help finding some good tires

I've been considering grabbing a set of taller tires on some 15" wheels just for longer road trips. Taller tires make one HELL of a difference as far as ride quality is concerned. I've also ran a 26" tall slick out back at the track before. It's not such a terrible idea to have extra sets...

need help finding some good tires

That would almost defeat the purpose of having the gears installed, especially with such a tall gear. I run 4.10s with 335/35/17s, and they are damn near stock height. My 315s were right on the money. If you're worried about cruising RPM or top speed, it's not that bad! Now, ride quality on...

    dropping the body

A suspension drop IS a body drop on our cars. We have a unibody, so there is no frame to body bushings you can remove or fabricate brackets for.

    loudest set of flowmasters???

+1 on that. I had Flowpaths on my last 'Stang and I loved them. I'm considering trying a set of the "Pro Dumps" that Mac makes next. My car has drone SO bad when I'm in 5th gear at anything less than 55. I've had people tell me that they don't even mind the 'spirited' way that I drive...

    loudest set of flowmasters???

I currently run a set of 10 series 1 chamber Flowmaster knockoffs. They are made EXACTLY the same way Flowmaster makes them, just without the name stamped on. They are LOUD! Here they are with 3" dumps welded right to them, and an offroad Prochamber in front. A little tire abuse

    Tire wear strips.

Just make sure you have a properly aligned car, especially after lowering it. This is what I just had to replace, because I cheaped out after the drop and didn't get camber plates. Post 12 My back tires aren't looking so great either. I just replaced my fronts and am on the hunt...

    I'm gonna guess a 2009 F250 Super Duty FX4 with the 6.4l Turbodiesel. :D

    Post your tips!

This is my previous 'stang. I had Mac 3.5" single wall slash cut tips. They were the perfect size, and the angle on the cut was just right. Sorry about the darkness of the pictures and the small size. The camera was older than dirt. Here's some weird over-developed one...

any body have problem with cam support

I've had the same EXACT problem. On an 01 even. Those were taken with an old crappy cell phone camera. It ended up scoring up the cam there pretty bad as well. It only happened to one head, as well. At least two towers were trashed. Depending on whether or not both of your...

Love my Stang, but don't know how you guys who drive them daily do it

If you drive the car as you are building it, you get used to the way it drives slowly. You get to experience the mods as you do them, and always have something big to look forward to , like forced induction. Some people buy fast cars right out of the box, and it takes them a while to get used...

    i had to do it

Oh man, the limited 95 Stars! I had a pair of those for the rear of my car for a little while! Bad ass looking wheels!

    All Season Tires

Mine didn't last particularly long because I have a bit of negative camber. Yeah, I'm aware how dirty it was in those pictures. I drive the thing almost every day. I'm looking at when I bought those tires actually, and it's been a lot longer than I thought. I had those fronts...

    All Season Tires

I JUST mounted those tires to the front of my car, except the ones I got are the design before those. I picked them up for $150. My experience with BFG tires are that they wear sort of fast, but always have great grip. I only run BFGs if I get a really good deal on them. There's plenty of...

    1" drop, smother ride, $10.00

I did this with a ton of my tools when I had to do a side job that was far away from my garage. It did ride nicer, albeit my dumps would scrape on every crappy road in Michigan and the resonance of the exhaust made all of the tools jingle together.

    Which Hood????

That's about exactly what happens, as well as the plug wells filling up with rain water and killing your coils. I remember the threads that used to crop up about making the stock scoop functional. Some people would remove the honeycomb, others would drill the holes out, then cut a giant hole...

This is true. I see them more commonly than Bullitts around my area.

    Pics of my Stang :)

Best catback ever! I had that on my 01 GT. Those are the perfect tips for the cutouts in our bumpers in my opinion.
