    I get the crazy idle in the morning when I first start the car. I wiggled and pushed in all the vacuum lines and it quit. You have to find the small vacuum lines too. They are usually wrapped in the plastic ribbed tubing.

    If that fails... You could try a strap wrench to hold the pulley. Then, attach a breaker bar to the pulley bolt and whack it with a 2x4 to simulate the action of an impact wrench.

    Anti-lock brakes and traction control became an option in 04. It was standard on prior years. Does that mean Ford concluded we don't need ABS/TC? Just because Ford removed it doesn't mean it wasn't necessary. It was primarily a business decision.

    If all you want to do is drag race, then you'll like a high stall. Your 1-2 shift might be a little soft so be aware.

    Bypass the stock one. Some argue you need it to warm up the fluid. The transmission will warm up the fluid for you. In high 20s to low 30s ambient temperature, my transmission fluid temp will get to 120s in 10 minutes, and stay there.

    Holy crap! I just read a couple of threads on the strut tower brace. The debates on their worthiness are worse than the X vs H pipe or 3.73 vs 4.10 or any CAI thread. Maybe I'll just buy another gun to add to my collection.

    Really? I would think keeping the struts true to the pavement would be a bigger gain than a few pounds. Besides, those pounds mean more to drag racing than autocross.
