    Pull the battery out and take it somewhere to get checked. Is it the stocker? It seems like it shouldn't be toast yet, but you never know. If a battery is too far gone it just won't jump.

    What would it cost to port the crap out of the npi heads and do a reverse PI swap. He already tore the motor apart once to do the swap, why do it again? If going for cheap, tear it back apart and put pistons in it to lower the compression, then use the frpp blower. I could go either way I guess...

    Instead of putting the npi heads back on, save up for a new forged short block and transfer your PI stuff on to it. Then look at blowers. Or if you can't wait that long get a set of P&P heads with cams and bolt them on your current block. Then down the line when you get a built short block....

    If it has problems like that then I would try to talk him down some more. AC compressors are expensive and who knows about the brakes. BTW I can beat a mostly stock 99+ now, just wait untill I do the Pi swap...:D

    Its not the plugs, its the head itself. I heard the 04s fixed the problem. When I do my headswap, I think I'm gonna use some teflon tape on my plugs.

    Just bought a '96 Mystic Cobra - question about shifter.

    Pull the trim piece off and see if the metal and rubber thing is still around the base of the shifter. If not you should be able to see the ground by looking at it. Maybe you can find one to put in if its not there.

    exhaust loudness ?

    here's a pic of what I used to have on my car....2 chamber flows and dumps. The dumps made it much louder inside and out, no funky smell though.

    I'm happy to say I no linger have dumps! It was cool for a while and actally I would have had to do it anyway when I dropped the fuel tank. It makes it loud as hell inside the car, and the smell sucks too. If you want it louder, buy a new off road midpipe. The factroy exhaust is of good quality...
