    porting PI heads

Well if they do have Comp cams and springs then thats about $800-$900 worth of stuff right there. It all depends on what stage they were ported to. Why is he selling them? If they do in fact have a good port job, and are in perfect condition, then it would be a good deal and would produce at...

    HELP WITH 17" COBRA R's OR 18" SALEEN's

So are you looking at package deals on ebay? If it were me I would be leery of buying an off brand tire. It IS the part of the car that touches the road. I have Fuzion ZRI, which Firestone makes. very good tires so far. BTW the 18s would look better, but the 17s would perform better (rotational...

    Mufflers??? gains

These are a little cheaper:http://www.brothersperformance.com/shop/mustang/flo942443.html Also do you plan on buying different tail pipes too? If you increasing the size of all the pipe, I think the fully mandrel bent cat back is the way to go.

    New Spark Plugs-reply Asap

But aren't the factory plugs platinum? Anyways I do plan on changing them pretty soon. If I want Ford ones should I get the regulars and not platinums?

    Power Pipe

I think power pipes are mostly for super chargers, do you have one? I know UPR makes some, and so does Anderson Ford. Maybe you could call them and ask about N/A power pipes.

    Front Tire Width

Yes, I do. I have Fuzion ZRI 275/40/17 on 17 X 9 wheels all the way around. It only rubs a tiny bit at full turn, like in parking lots and stuff. If you don't listen for it I can barely hear it. BTW, I'm lowered 1.5 inches too, so if you have stock ride height you may not even rub at all. Turn...

    New Spark Plugs-reply Asap

I've heard mixed responses about the ones I have (see sig), and I have developed a slight miss at idle. If I had it to do over again I would get Ford Motorcraft Platinums.

Questions about LT headers, intakes, and tuning...

I'm guessing 20 rwhp at the most, more like 30 with a good tune. But remember, you will need a shorter mid pipe to hook up to the long tubes. So a set of long tubes ($450-$600), plus a new mid pipe (cheap catted ones are over $250) and the new intake for about $200 or so. Then a dyno tune will...

just bought a 98 GT, making a weird noise when...

It could be a number of things. The first thing I would check is the pinion snubber. Its a rubber thing between the differential and the body of the car. When I lowered my car it came with a new smaller one so the car wouldn't bottom out. Maybe when you nail it the suspention flexes so much it...

Questions about LT headers, intakes, and tuning...

Long tubes on a mostly stock non PI car are a waste IMO. Also they cost at least $450, plus I've heard the install is dam hard. The stock manifolds are not too bad on the 4.6s unless you have a power adder. Adding the PI intake can be done and you will see a good gain. Some people make adapters...

New rear end gears whine loud when I let off

The guy that did my gears set them at .007 and I've never had a problem and I'm running convention lube with Ford friction modifier for now. Hey, are they FRPP gears? I've heard other brands are noisey compared to the Ford ones.

96 GT keep or get 99 GT

I also want to do the PI swap. I already have a set of 12k mile complete PI heads from a 2000 GT with the cam covers. I bought them off ebay for $440 shipped. I'm thinking about having Anderson Ford stage 3 port and polish them and add comp springs and cams. Even if I throw them on bone stock I...

New rear end gears whine loud when I let off

What type of gear lube did you use? Also what about the friction modifer? Maybe you should try synthetic lube, I know the Royal Purple already contains friction modifier.

    Don't Buy These!!

I have them in my car, and after about 15k I've developed a slight miss at idle. My friend swears its the plugs but I don't know. In the next couple weeks I plan on swaping them for Ford plugs, so I guess I'll see if they were the cause of the miss or not.

is this OIL for rear end , good????

I'm not sure about your particular oil, but I read the side of Royal Purple gear lube and it said it contained friction modifier. Just read the side of the bottle and see if it already has it or not.

What is stock Fuel Pressure on a 96 GT

It should be anywhere from 35-45 with the vaccum attatched and 50 with it unplugged. If it is less then your pump may be weak. I go these numbers from the Haynes manual.
