    Be aware that you might have to do some tunnel surgery to install that Tremec with the proper driveline angle. To be honest I don’t know that for a fact. I hear you do have to raise the tunnel on 67, 68’s and that you don’t. Still have not had a definitive answer on that. I’d like to know...

    non roller cam/lifters in roller block

    Outlaw, THAT SUCKS!!! I had no idea new cams and lifter had such problems. Thanks for the article GoinBroke. Not to hijack but wondering.. Are Rhoads Lifters built any better? Do the NEW Solid Lifter (non-roller) cams have the same problem of poor materials and going flat?

    4v means it came stock with a 4 barrel Carb. 2v with a 2 barrel.

    I went with Factory 68 discs on my 67. Upgraded the rotors and pads, very happy with the results.

    Need more info. How many miles on the motor? Could be worn valve guides or piston rings. If it is a high mileage motor then yeah, it might be time for a rebuild.

    Help me avoid the pitfalls, stealth swap

    -Be sure to drain the coolant before you remove your intake. A good time to put some fresh coolant in there after the swap. - Don't use the cork end gaskets, a bead of high quality silicone will do the trick. - torque the new intake in a x-cross pattern you can also have your old intake fixed.
