Heading to the strip, advice needed

Just make sure you have an approved helmet and not a Motorcycle helmet. Just watch what everyone does in the staging lanes or ask for advice from somebody at the track to tell you about that tracks proceedures.

62 mm Billet Throttle Body (S197)

Up for grabs is a MotoBlue, 62 mm Billet throttle body. It functions perfectly but is too much for my mostly stock NA car. Precison brass gears. Comes with a TB Position Sensor, but not the throttle motor. It must be transferred from your stock one. $200 OBO

    Aluminum Driveshaft question

You need to correct your suspension first. If you lowered your car you need an adjustable panhard bar and an adjustable UCA. I also had to add caster camber plates on mine which is down 1.5". My aluminum shaft is a Spydershaft, which replaces the pinion flange and does not vibrate at high speed.

    Unresponsive Throttle

I had one go bad on my car in less than a year. I had some bolt ons on my car so the dealer refused warranty and made me buy a whole new throttle body because you can't buy just that motor assembly. (At least not then )

    Cam Tools

Thanks a bunch for the DIY link, that's just what I needed. Hot Rod cams are my next upgrade I just wanted to see what was involved first. I will be renting these tools for sure, I just need a little extra cash for the cams. (BTW, the last time I changed a camshaft was in 1971 (MoPar) and...

I don't know where you live but these guys do excellent roll bars and cages. Some of our convertable club members have their roll bars.

    State Inspection problem...

Do you have a custom tune in your cars computer? If so you will need to go back to the factory tune and drive about 200 miles then resubmit for testing. I have to do this myself every time I get an emissions test. Most custome tunes TURN OFF the 02 sensors.

    driveshaft

Some Aluminum DS have an adapter so you don't have to change the pinion flange, oters are made to fit without an adapter but you simply change the pinion flange. I didn't like the adapter idea so mine is a Spydershaft which required a flange change.

    Spark Plugs for 06 GT

I use Autolite HT1, and like them so far, HT0 is the colder plug. If this is your first plug change for this car, be careful.
