    Problem solved...sort of. It stopped, but after a few miles started back up. I guess I didn't get the bolts tight enough. It was definatly the problem though.

    If they were hitting the valve covers they would have hit them before. And I just adjusted the rockers and it's still doing it. I'm replacing the header gaskets today though.

    I pulled the drivers side valve cover yesterday and couldn't find anything visually wrong, so I started feeling of the rockers. There were two that had vertical play in them, so I'm hoping after I get them set properly and everything back together the tick will be cured.

    Sand with that 220, spray a coat of quality adhesion promoter, then spray a coat of epoxy primer, 30-45 minute flash time, coat of urethane primer.

    You'll need to reduce the base coat to spray. Fast reducer is for cooler weather. Slow for warm (90F^ up).

    Campbell Hausfeld PA2085 - Filter / Dryer Maybe cheaper elsewhere. At 70 you'll need a fast-medium reducer. Sand it with 400-600 and respray it if real bad/course. If it's not that bad smooth it out with 800-1000 and blend it out to cover that area. If you go from the start go 10-15...

    That filter will help, but a filter/dryer setup is the trick. The drain is at the bottom. Drain it and you should be good to go for a hood, without a filter/dryer. Never used that brand. I've always used PPG or HOK. What spray time are doing? Flash time between coats? Temperature and reducer?

    You running a air filter/dryer? Sounds like you're getting moisture in your lines. Drain your tank before you start.
