    Refresh me on thermostat Gasket....

    You have the wrong gasket. Make sure the stat does not fall out of the groove in the neck. Use some RTV to help hold it in place. If it drops down and you tighten it, it will kink the stat and leak. I did this the first time and had to go buy another. Good luck!

    Cars been sitting for 3 months - will this cause me any problems?

    I started my car today for the first time since November it was in the 40s. Before starting it unhook the coil wire from the coil and crank the motor over a few times or until you can see the oil pressure come up.

    Problems w/ idle on a 347 stroker!

    Try adjusting your idle to 950 RPM if you have not already. Your probably fighting a vacuum problem.

    5.0 or 302 emblem?

    I just ordered a V8 badge off a 02 Explorer to put on my trunk lid where the SVT badge would go. They look real sweet and I think they would look good on the front fenders. I haven't been able to find pic of the badge on the net, but it should be here on Thrusday so I'll post a pic of it then.

    Looks like you've been burning the midnight oil on that intake. Looks real good to! I picked up a couple of plates that would fit on that intake. The plate on the left should be done this weekend then on to the next. If your interested let my know.
