Ford Front Bumper Engineers win SAOY Award

I would love that job. I do not think that the people who did the Mustangs (99+) took the cup holders into consideration. I think that they should not even exist in these cars... No need for drinking - pay attention to the road...

    2005 stage 3!

It is no doubt a great performer but last time I say a front end like that it was pushing snow off the roads. A bit too garish for my tastes - I'd prefer a more subtle body kit.

Magnaflow needs YOUR input- V6 exhaust system pictures- single or dual?

I'vr got a GT and your Magnaflows are going on it tomorrow so here is my unbiased opinion - keep in mind that I am not a V6 hater. I think it looks nice (the rolled tips keep it from looking like rice). The one thing that bothers me is the cutout only being on one side. I know it is not in...

Ford Front Bumper Engineers win SAOY Award

Okay. Points all taken. I was just pissed off when I wrote it and venting. My apologies to the engineers. But SOMEBODY screwed up. Someone said up top that I should buy a bracket for it. Did Ford, in its infinite wisdom, make one? If not, then they should have... or made the bumper more...

Ford Front Bumper Engineers win SAOY Award

Yes, you heard right. Ford 2005 Mustang Front Bumper Engineers win the Stupid Ass of the Year award... from me anyway. Who in the hell designs a bumper for use in the USA that does not leave room for a front license plate (that is required in most states). I mean, there are two "pilot" holes...

'05 Body in white, offering blems??

Don't know the answer to this but keep us updated on the car (if/when it sees fruition). Good Luck, too...

    Electronic Throttle--No smoky Burnouts??????

Also, the rev-limiter never got hit in that car. He is letting off lightly and then getting back into the throttle. Hitting the rev limiter is much more distinct than that. Ever hear a drag car hit the rev limiter at the track. It is not as spaced as this guy's car. It is about every 1/4...

    Electronic Throttle--No smoky Burnouts??????

I believe that this was a pre-production car, wasn't it? I think it was used as a base for a SEMA car. It was ENCOURAGED by the dealership to promote the car, I'm sure. Also, bouncing off the rev limiter is not a bad thing. It is there for a reason. So you do not over-rev the engine. The...

    Electronic Throttle--No smoky Burnouts??????

Lies! ALL LIES! Smoked 'em up in 1st and 2nd tonight! The road is pretty cold here tonight so it was easier to do... It normally hooks up pretty well so it is hard to do (unless you do a 4500 RPM dump.

Quick question for those with an axelback system

You might even see BETTER gas milage. Who knows. If you are that bent on keeping good MPG then I suggest you keep the car stock and save the MOD money for gas money. You also might consider NEVER driving the car in a spirited fashion - which it was built to do. Well, I guess you should...

    Electronic Throttle--No smoky Burnouts??????

Steve McQueen did a big smokey burnout in the Cornfield video. With that said, it is hard to break the wheels loose in this car, for some reason. I am also going from my 04 Mach 1 (~300 RWHP and 4.10 gears) to it which is a good deal of a difference in traction.

Don't know what this Integra was thinking

I wish that I had some of those wheel covers that did the spin thing when you come to a stop. They are hilarious!

Perfectly articulated! You should be given a medal!

Don't know what this Integra was thinking

I agree... Rice is not simply an import car. I have said before and will say again - if a car is done up RIGHT, then it does not constitute rice. Bug-ass wings, fart cans, and neon usually pegs the meter for rice-ness.

    13.20 @ 104 stock!!

I have not been on the board for a couple of days but the car is NOT stock with weight reduction. Do not get me wrong. This is a helluva run but I cannot accept it as a STOCK timeslip/ In my opinion, even running lower than the MFG recommended tire pressure removes it from being in the STOCK...

Interoir Dress Up: Steeda A/C Billet Knobs Review

So am I wrong in what I said about the Steeda peices? Maybe it is the UPR ones that are not built right. Anyway, the Steeda pieces do not look as good as the UPR pieces, so the UPR's are staying on. I am just glad that I do not have to replace the switches.

Interoir Dress Up: Steeda A/C Billet Knobs Review

The look of them is not that great. They have these grooves in them all over the place that make it look like they took little time in production - like the machine was run too fast to spit more out in less time. They looked like crap, so I decided to get a set of UPR pieces instead (I also...
