    So the novi's sold. On3?

Then go for it. I didn't have any problems putting my on3 kit other than buying a few bolts at the hardware store. Just be warned the budget goes way beyond the price of the kit. Lol.

    So the novi's sold. On3?

Do you like tinkering, or would you rather bolt something on and go bang gears. Because most any turbo kit you buy, is going to take a lot more finesse then something like a novi or s-trim.

    So the novi's sold. On3?

Eh, it's understandable. I did piss and moan about all the problems I was having for a while. :p

    So the novi's sold. On3?

I'm happy with my On3 kit, just not happy with my car as a whole right now. :D

    Top end noise

So no ones had a lifter go bad before?

    Top end noise

I put new head gaskets on my car because of a failure about a month back. Shortly after, I noticed a tap in the top end. I assumed it was a rocker or push rod problem. But none of the rockers were slacked, and all the push-rods were straight. So my next guess would be a faulty lifter, but...

Not really, I've honestly lost any interest in the thing. It's sitting in the shop with a valve cover off, because I've got a valvetrain tap now. If I did it again it would get a h/c/i combo, and that's all.

what to do got choices but limited money.

I had a vert.... it became the donor for my notch. Lol. Fox's are money pits as it is, having a vert just makes it worse.

I've also heard good things about DDM, and you can't beat their price.

    Which heads would you buy?

If you get your valve clearance figured out, Power-adder solutions over on the corral quoted me $1100 shipped for TFS twisted wedge heads assembled. I thought it was a decent price.

Not much to update on yet, still haven't made a WOT pull in the car since the new head gaskets. Lol. I'm nervous about pushing another one out. Just bought some boring stuff, cap and rotor, and a new IAC valve to fix my hunting idle problem. Still trying to get the hang of the Quarterhorse...

    mustang tuning software

I think your only other option is getting into the SCT chip gig like all the other dyno shops around. They prolly have a "pay per car" license fee or something.

The purpose of a MLS gasket is to seal really well, but they require a much better prep in order to do so. Most machine shops want to know ahead of time if you plan to run a MLS gasket, because the "usual" finish they deck a set of heads with isn't good enough.

There's the tweecer, and then the moates quarter horse. You can tune either systems with binary editor.

Don't plan on running a MLS gasket unless you have your block re-surfaced. They don't take well to a rough or uneven mating surface.

No, arp bolts. Everything I read said at 10lbs bolts would be plenty. But now I'm having second thoughts.

Hmmm, hope mine hold up. Lol. I've lost about all of my patience on this project now. Today was rough putting the car back together. :)

Were you using stock bolts, or a set from arp?
