    Most tracks make you run water without antifreeze. Did you boil the water? This could make it puke water while its boiling and stop when its cool.

    You can do it. Heat is your best friend. You can use plastic zip ties to help get the hog rings started. Its hard to push through the foam and ring to the seat frame. Loop the zip tie through the upholstery, foam and frame. Zip it tight then hog ring it. The back seat is a piece of cake...

    This is a great option for you. Yes a 4v carb will wake up your Mustang. A 500 or 600 cfm will be plenty. It will match most of your future mods as well. Later you can do exhaust to give it more horses.

    1964 1/2 mustang: Halogen headlights?

    I have regular halogen bulbs with stock wiring right now. I did get a new headlight switch a long time ago. They work great and the boot fit fine. I will wire in a relay one of these days. Currently they dim just a little when I idle. Overall they are great and I can see well.

    I have a rebuilt Motorcraft from Autozone. The thing is that most autoparts stores have the part numbers wrong. I had to get one for an Automatic. It actually is the one for a Manual shift. Its been about 6 years, so hopefully yours would last a while.

    Is this a rusted cowl?

    That rust is from the battery hitting the fan. Then the acid gets sprayed on your engine and hood. Ask me how I know this :) Its surface rust like 2+2GT stated. Pretty easy to clean and paint over.
