    I will have to put in another vote for the offroad MAC h pipe + welded in delta 40 combo. If you want original muscle car sound both at idle and wide open throttle this is the only way to go. I get a lot of compliments on the sound of my car. :nice:

    You can buy methanol and mix it or you can use windsheild wiper fluid.

    My buddy has a 2001 cobra. He saw basically the same % increase as I did with his nitrous kit. His HP is higher of course. We still are pretty even though I guess its due to his weight and lack of DR's and running 4.10's. We are both running mid 12's.

    Seems like from what I read you can run more timing with methanol even if you have an intercooler. Would that make methanol more effective when it is on? Either way it seems like methanol would be more effective. However as already stated you dont have it on all the time.

    I think you need to oil it also. You should be able to find a k&n recharge kit at any parts store for around 20 dollars.

    1. On a stock bottom end I wouldnt go above a 125 shot wet or dry. I would go with a wet shot. 2. There are a variety of kits out there with varying prices. I feel direct port is overkill on a stock bottom end as from I have seen engines start letting go at 150 which is right where puddling...

    +1 However I wouldnt go over a 125shot. Theres a post in talk right now of a guy that blew up on a 150shot. Shot a rod thru the block even. My buddy did the same thing on a 150shot. His car is still sitting waiting on a built motor. Ive run more bottles than I can count thru mine with a 125...

    Bummer. :nonono: Seems like +125 shot is where the threshold is for stock bottom end. My buddy got a 150 shot on his 2001 4v. I told him above 125 was asking for trouble. It mysteriously blew up a few weeks later. He swears up and down he wasnt spraying. :rolleyes:
