    alternator wire lighting up...

Make sure your battery is unplugged, remove the belt, remove all wiring, remove the bolts and take out. Then reinstall in the opposite order. I've never done it on a Mustang but it looks very easy since it is right on top.

    Fuel Filter Replacement Question

Same thing with mine. I turned the engine off and let it sit for a while. I even unplugged the fuel pump by taking out the fuse in the fuse block and for some reason it still ran. Not good, but it ran.

    Help! alignment with FRPP Csprings....

I put the C springs on my car and when it was taken to the shop to have them align it, it was not that far off from the factory marks. I think they are giving you a bunch of BS.

Toyota Camry's gunna start givin us a run for our money?

Today's Mustang GT has 300 hp vs today's Camry's what (I don't remember). Then you have the GT500 with 500hp. Both cars are not in the same market. As DropTopPony states, 10 years ago cars were less powerful and less advanced.

    Ignition problem...

A voltmeter will show the voltage, but if it has a bad cell it would not show up until you put a load on it. When I used to work at an auto parts place, the battery would show to have a full charge but once you place it on a load it would fail. Load testing is just as it states--putting a load...

Im sure this has been asked

Is there still a warranty on the car and have you done any mods to void it? I would take it to the dealer and let them deal with it if you have a warranty.

    brake line leaking

Could have been a bad part or the bolt was not tight enough and worked itself loose.

    Seafoam and Plugs

I don't think it would matter one bit. I would do the plugs and then the Seafoam since the engine should be cool when the plugs are removed. I've had better results when using Seafoam on a warm engine.

    8.8 rearend oil change

6 quarts. It is best to check the oil level in the morning because most, if not all, the oil is in the drain pan after sitting overnight.

    Ignition problem...

I would say that if you had to get a jump, the battery is on its way out. How did you test the battery? Just hook it up to a voltmeter or did you do a load test on it?

    brake questions

If you are talking about the square block that the line feeds into the caliper, on each side of it there will be brass crush washers and then the banjo bolt. These washers will need to be replaced when the caliper is replaced since they are crushed when you tighten the bolt down. If they are...

    new rotors, new pads needed??

Their website sucks! Couldn't find a listing for us regular GT guys. And you have to write in to get a price quote. In any case, they look pretty good and since you are down there, I'd replace the pads.

    MGW shfiter questions

You can use it if you want or the RTV that you get with the shifter. Advantages for using the gasket is that you don't necessarily need some sealer with it and when you remove the shifter, it should come off easily. Supposedly they also reduce the noise that comes through the shifter but I...
